First things first! After mailing about 350 support letters out last week, I was very blessed to get some good responses from people! It's such a blessing to see God's hand in this support raising. The Lord does provide beyond imagination and I am truly thankful for it. So far, from about 10 people, a little over $600 has been sent in, and you know what that means! Only $15,900 left to go! God is Good all the Time, and all the time, God is Good! Please let me know if you didn't receive a support letter, but would like to receive one now!
OK, onto the real post-
I really love airports. Aside from the fantastic people watching opportunities, you really just get a good chance to reflect. Perhaps it's the concept of airports that strikes my fancy- people going here and there, wondering where they are headed and why; seeing happy reunions and one of my favorite parts- seeing people eagerly awaiting the arrival of loved ones, necks craned as far as humanly possible to get that first glimpse of the person they are waiting for and then the happy instant when they finally recognize that face that they've been longing for. It never ceases to put a smile on my face! But alas, I digress...and I haven't even gotten started yet!
Anyway, cruising at a steady altitude of 30,000 feet towards my home in Denver today, I had some thoughts. Not so much an epiphany or anything of that nature, but just a few realizations. The title of my post has three verbs that I am starting to realize are an essential part of me. To Live, to love, and to learn. These things are my passions, my goals, and a combination of these things is what I feel God is calling me to. Let me explain. Each one of these is something that I have a strong desire for in life.
I live- because God sustains me; because His will for me is to spend each day of my life serving Him.
I love- because that is what I am called to do above all else because He first loved me; I love many different things such as places and people and experiences, but all of them in some way point me back to and constantly remind me of God's incomprehensible love and give me the ultimate example of unconditional love.
I learn- everyday about God's grace; I learn new things everyday and though man's knowledge is not to be praised above God, learning about new things and learning about new people and new places allows me to connect to others and show Christ's love in unexpected ways.
These three simple infinitives carry such great meaning in my life. I could spend hours discussing exactly why these simple words have come to essentially frame my world outlook, but no one wants to listen to that, I'm sure. But, since these things are so important to me, and this technically is my blog to post what I want, I will leave with this-
I love to live. I live to learn. I love to learn. I live to love.

i really need to call you back so we can catch up. loved the newest post. Don't be discouraged about support-raising, it will come!! If God can provide fishes and loaves for a crowd, He can certainly provide for His children when they need it! hope sb is going well.

I love your little lessons for the day. As a Potter Puppet Pal once said "I love to learn!" One also said "I like the part when he stops moving!" But thats something completely different.
